A Transnational Network
In winter 2007, as a follow-up to recommendations from the UPEACE conference in Toronto (held in October 2006), the foundation commissioned a feasibility study for the creation of a web-based platform as a tool for sharing information, promising practices as well as emerging research and resources on the topic of transnationalism and diaspora. Pierre Terver conducted this research study. As an annex, the report also includes an extensive list of diaspora, transnational-focused and/or diaspora-led websites.
