Water Policy Fellowships

In 2005 the Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation initiated a project under its Fresh Water Resources Protection Programme to annually award four 1-year graduate Fellowships of $15,000 each. The Fellowships are intended to support policy applications of water research by Canadian graduate students who are near completion of their studies.

See A Note on Mentorship for thoughts from 2006 Water Policy Fellowship recipients Liz Hendricks and Sarah Wolfe.

Freshwater Leaders Learning Network

In 2008, we asked the Sustainability Network to help us organize our inaugural Water Policy Leaders Network. This event was held from September 24 - 26, 2008 at the Harmony Dawn Retreat Centre and it involved sixteen emerging water policy leaders. Click here for more information.
